We have lots of updates, and we’re getting ready for IBM InterConnect next week, so this time we’ll keep each post quite short.

If you’re attending the conference, you’re invited to join a session with Peter Hack, the ClearCase architect, together with Tamir Gefen, GoMidjets’ CEO. Peter will talk about Continuous Engineering with ClearCase while Tamir will discuss Continuous Integration with ClearCase and Jenkins, incorporating a case study.

Do you have to annotate XML files?

Currently, ClearCase itself does not offer XML per-line annotation (except text files only).
If you find this service crucial for your on-going work, you can vote for a new Request for Enhancement (RFE):

Did you know? ClearTeam Explorer now supports snapshot views

New LOC metrics!

We continuously improve the LOC metrics and charts as part of our standard R&D Reporter improvements.
We now provide an LOC chart per code language (click to see a screenshot), and soon we will release an LOC report per UCM stream.

RTC users: do you need lines of code (LOC) reports and metrics?

We are considering enhancing our unique add-on and supporting RTC as well. Let me know if you find this relevant for you!
