How to open a ticket with IBM about a problem with ClearCase ClearQuest

As of January 2015, you can no longer just open a ticket by email (as used to be the case).

You now have to open a Service Request (SR) to the IBM customer support team from here: https://www-947.ibm.com/support/servicerequest

This also applies to all IBM (and Rational) products.

I’ve used this website many times over the last few months (since we provide managed services for ClearCase \ ClearQuest \ RTC \ DOORS for many customers).

I can say that opening a request by email (as was true previously) can sometimes be more convenient (e.g. when you have to share screenshots), however this website is like a portal where you can see all your service requests in one central place, so it offers its own advantages.
